February EDI Live Replay

February EDI Live Replay

Hello friends!

I decided to try something new and begin sharing the EDI Live replay links here for all Light Tier members to see. I plan to keep each of these posts up for a several months at least so folks who weren't able to make it to the live session can view them, though I may not leave them up forever. I explain more of my thought process in the start of this month's video. :)

If you're new to watching a replay you'll see that the recording primarily captures my overhead camera and doesn't include my face camera that you see in live class. So the visual isn't that exciting for the parts where I'm just talking, but you still get all the information from the class.

🗓️
Here are the dates to save for the upcoming months: Mar 22, Apr 26, May 17, June 28 all at 12PM PST.

Below is the link to the February class. It's about an hour and twenty minutes long. Our topic was "Using your supplies" and I shared a lot of ideas that cluster around this essay:

Free Lesson! 🌱 For the love of art supplies (Part 2)
Try this: Think of your art supplies as experiences instead of a collection of treasures The money that you spent on them was not an investment It was more like buying a festival pass or birthday cake or a train ticket They were never meant to stay with you forever

The last 30 minutes or so are then Q&A time where we talked about how to make a flat wash using watercolor and the difference between various kinds of paint and paper.

While I'm chatting, I also make a painting based on this reference photo:
